  1. What is Old York Road Little League?

    Old York Road Little League is an official local Little League organization, chartered by Little League International in Williamsport, PA.

  2. Where is Old York Road Little League?

    Our territory spans Elkins Park, Melrose Park, LaMott, Wyncote, and Glenside. By charter, we are the official Little League for all children who reside within the boundaries: Township Line Road, New Second Street, Cheltenham Avenue, and Easton Road.

    Most games are played at Ellis A. Gimbel Park, of the Cheltenham Township Park system, centrally located by the Tookany Creek off Harrison Avenue in Elkins Park.

  3. Who is in charge of OYRLL?

    OYRLL is a program of Old York Road Athletic Association, Inc. ("OYR"), an all-volunteer, non-profit corporation which runs OYRLL. OYR also runs the Elkins Park Athletic Association ("EPAA"), a senior division for boys and girls over age 12.

  4. Who belongs to OYR?

    All the players, parents, and volunteers are automatically members of OYR. All adult members may attend the Annual Meeting in October and vote for the Board of Directors.

  5. Is all this written down anywhere?

    OYR operates under written By-Laws. A comprehensive revision of these By-Laws was adopted in 1998.
